This Tuesday, November 15, the 18th edition of the BFM Awards was held at the Louvre Pyramid, the opportunity to reward businessmen and industrialists of the year. Sovereignty, independence, but also innovation, with an excursion to the metaverse during this ceremony, or the question of raw materials were at the heart of this ceremony.
Six awards were handed out on Tuesday night. Manager of the Year Award it was handed over to Guillaume Faury, Airbus CEO. An award given by Bernard Charlès, CEO of Dassault Systèmes and rewarded in 2021.
The BFM Award for International Conquest it was presented to Henri Poupart-Lafarge, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Alstom. It was Laurent Treilhes, president and CEO and member of the executive committee of Allianz Trade in France who presented him with this trophy, rewarding in particular the rain of contracts registered by Alstom in 2022.
BFM Award for Family Broadcasting It was awarded to Catherine Barthélémy, President of Manuloc, Johann Peyroulet, Managing Director of Manuloc, Matthieu Barthélémy, Vice President of Manuloc and Thomas Barthélémy, Director of Group Asset Management. Manuloc is a specialist in the handling trades.
The raison d’être of the BFM Award It was given as a gift by adventurer Mike Horn to Lucie Basch, the co-founder of Too good to go. This startup, specialist in food waste, has just announced the acquisition of CodaBene, a French company specializing in traceability, to manage stocks in real time.
The BFM Award for Newcomer of the Year returns to Exotec and its co-founder Renaud Heitz. The twenty-fifth French unicorn designs robots for e-commerce gamers. It was the world judo champion Romane Dicko who presented this award.
Finally, the sixth BFM Prize awarded tonight went to Fred Mazzella, founder of Blablacar and whom we meet every Friday at 7pm at BFM Business in Les Pionniers. BFM Entrepreneur of the Year Award was awarded to Pauline Duval, CEO of Groupe Duval and Raphaël Gorgé, Chairman and CEO of Groupe Gorgé.
