Spain and Portugal have been affected since noon by a mass energy cut, announced the Manager of the Red Electric. Several thousand users are concerned, according to Spanish media, including the country, which reports that consumption has decreased by half of 12:25 pm
Electricity failures affected communications, airports and high -speed transport networks in Spain and Portugal. Traffic lights and shopping centers have also been affected.
This breakdown was reported by citizens of all Spanish regions, as well as in the afternoon of Portugal. The power supply was partially restored for a few minutes before jumping again. The main Spanish electrical companies, consulted by the country, have not yet given reasons to justify the cuts.
According to Spanish digital media, the breakdown would affect the airports of a large part of the country such as those in Madrid, Seville, Barcelona, Malaga or Pamplona. Portugal but also the French neighboring regions could be affected according to certain sources.
