What would happen if artificial intelligence could finally design flat engines or build spacecraft? It is the commitment of the creators of Archie, an AI developed by P-1 AI, which announces its launch at the same time as a collection of funds of $ 23 million.
At the head of this newcomer to the market, three specialists in the sector: Paul Eremenko, former Google and Pentagon Research Agency (Darpa), Ephemeral CTO of Airbus and RTX, Aleksa Gordić, approved by Microsoft and Google Deepmind and Adam Nagel, director of Engineering at Acubed, Silicon Valley.
The collection of funds was directed by Radical Ventures Venture Capital Company and includes in particular the global village investor, which the founder of LinkedIn Reid Hoffman, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos or Mark Zuckerberg tells in his ranks.
Increase productivity
“Initially, the company aims to provide a capacity of a Junior engineer, with a rapid trajectory for the return of human information and real world learning,” P-1 AI said in a press release. The objective would be to integrate Archie into the teams to “improve equipment productivity.”
The Missions planned for AI would first focus on boring and repetitive tasks, “to save engineers, either to select adequate engineering tools or develop product concepts.
After lifting the veil in its fundraising, P-1 AI announces the deployment of “during the year” of its solution to help design the cooling systems of the data centers and shows its ambition to penetrate other areas, such as the aerospace, automotive or defense industries.
