The first European air transport group Lufthansa announced Friday to extend the suspension of its ties with Tel Aviv until May 18 even in a context of intensification of the conflict between Israel and Iran.
“Due to the current situation, the airlines of the Lufthansa group will suspend their flights at the beginning and Tel Aviv until Sunday, May 18,” instead of May 11, as announced above, said the German group in a statement.
The day before, Israel threatened Iranian leaders as never before, saying they are ready to submit them to the same as “in Hamas in Gaza”, four days after a shot of the Yemen of a missile in Tel Aviv, whose Hebrew state holds Tehran.
The Lufthansa group, which also has the Swiss airlines, Austria Airlines, Brussels Airlines and now the Ita Airlines companies, has changed their flight program several times since the war in the Gaza Strip, as other airlines have done.
Air France, on the other hand, announced on Tuesday the extension until May 13 of the suspension of its flights between Paris and Tel Aviv.
