Rafale carrying the nuclear weapon deployed in Europe? The Kremlin is skeptical. The Kremlin spokesman said Wednesday that the possible deployment in Europe of French airplanes with nuclear weapons, mentioned the previous day by President Emmanuel Macron, will not provide “security” to the European continent.
“The deployment of nuclear weapons in the European continent is not what will bring security, predictability and stability to the European continent,” said Dmitri Peskov, believing that the “significant efforts” of Moscow, Washington and European countries with nuclear weapons were necessary “to form a strategic security architecture.”
The Head of State returned Tuesday on TF1 on the issue of European nuclear deterrence.
“We are ready to open a discussion,” especially in the deployment of “bombs” nuclear plans in other European countries, said the president.
At the head of one of the two nuclear powers in Europe, Emmanuel Macron said he was ready on February 28 in “Open the discussion” about nuclear deterrence to its European partners.
