China is a threat a million times greater, in my opinion, than Trump’s agitation. In my activity sector, many industries have broken Chinese competition. In dental prostheses, for example, it is the Chinese who take market share of the United States.

However, we already have digitized and robotic production platforms. But in an equivalent product, they manage to obtain products two to three times cheaper. So much so that even French mutuality buys its prostheses in China now. It’s still a shame! And, of course, without patients being informed …
And in my other business, that of the dental aligners, if the Chinese arrive tomorrow with the same arrangements, they can also kill the market. Because they innovate until death, they have unbeatable prices and digital has given them an advantage that is not measured. Before it was a complicated activity for them. It was necessary to send the fingerprints of the tooth by plane, it was distinguished with the cold and the product was not of good quality.
Today, they have formed thousands of “small hands” throughout the country and it is enough to send them a digital file to obtain an unbeatable price thanks to their employees who have no vacation, less vacations, broader time spaces and infernal rates.
This is the reality of many markets today. And that is what really worries entrepreneurs on both sides of the Atlantic. The United States is and will continue to be a great market for us and a commercial partner. Trump will pass. But China is a competitor. And she will always be there. “
