At the head of the Irish airline for more than 30 years, a rarity in the world of air transport, Michael O’Leary expressed satisfaction when the annual results in early May.
He also said that he was going to stay “until 2028 and would continue to produce results before being able to obtain these action purchase options.”
Action purchases that react
This announcement would have made analysts and consultants react, according to Bloomberg, due to the company’s government difficulties.
Barclays analysts point out the fact that Ryanair’s chief would be a judge and left in the case. Its action acquisition policy, which is 750 million euros announced in May, would probably support the company’s stock market and, therefore, will trigger the 100 million bonus for your boss.
In addition, Ryanair’s annual results were worse than in previous years: earnings decreased 16%for a year and prices fell by 7%, while passenger traffic has increased by 9%.
