“She violated her agreement with us”: Donald Trump attacks China violently in her social network

In a Messafe in his social social network, the US President accused China on Friday of having “violated” an agreement on customs duties with the United States.

The president of the United States, Donald Trump, attacked China on Friday through a message in his social social network, accusing Beijing of not having respected the conditions of the relaxation agreement negotiated two weeks ago between the two gin countries to reduce their customs duties.

“As expected, China has completely violated its agreement with us,” said Donald Trump in a message, without specifying what actions carried out by Beijing would be attacked. His treasure secretary, Scott Besent, said for his part that commercial discussions “are a bit stagnant.”

In an interview with CNBC, the White House representative for Commerce (USTR), Jamieson Greer, estimated that Beijing continued “slowing down and limiting things with respect to critical minerals.” According to him, the American commercial deficit against the second world economic power “remains huge” and Washington has not observed any particular change in Beijing’s behavior. Scott Besent had estimated on Thursday that it was probably time for Donald Trump to meet his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, to advance the negotiations.

Judicial turns in US customs tasks

The United States and China had reached an agreement on May 12 in Geneva to temporarily suspend commercial escalation between the two countries that Donald Trump had established the implementation of the so -called customs duties “reciprocal” in early April. Beijing had responded by increasing his customs duties to American products, bringing a new replica of Donald Trump to which China had responded again. Customs tasks between the two countries had reached up to 125% for US products and 145% for Chinese products, in fact, the stroke of trade between the two countries.

Beijing had taken additional measures, certain symbolisms such as refusing to take possessions of devices produced by Boeing initially ordered by Chinese airlines. After two days of the meeting, Washington and Beijing agreed to temporarily reduce their respective customs tasks to take them to 30% on one side and 10% in the other. On Wednesday and Thursday, two American courts judged that the customs tasks of 20% imposed on China as part of the fight against fentanyl traffic were illegal, a decision of which the United States government appealed.
