Danish composer Maersk, number two in the world in the sector, announced on Friday, June 20, suspending any scale in the Israeli port of Haifa due to the war between Iran and Israel.
“In the context of the current conflict between Israel and Iran, in particular with respect to the potential risks linked to the stops in the Israeli ports and the implications that result from it for the safety of the crews of our ships, we have made the decision to temporarily suspend the stops in the port of Haifa with the ships operated by Maersk,” he said in a press release in a press release.
Maersk said there were no “additional disturbances” in its operations in the region. In Israel, the carrier continues to serve the port of Ashdod, in the south of the country.
Stating that Iran was about to have the atomic bomb, Israel launched a massive air attack against the Islamic Republic on June 13, which caused the Iranian response. Since then, the Israeli blows on the gunfire of Iran and Iranian against the Israeli territory have followed each other.
