President Donald Trump again criticized the head of the Central Bank of the United States (Fed) again, pretending to ask about the opportunity to “turn it” into interest rates. “I do not understand why the Council (of the governors of the Federal Reserve, note) does not defeat this.
On Wednesday, the Central Bank of the United States unanimously decided to leave its guiding rates without changes for the fourth consecutive time. Its president Jerome Powell suggested that the monetary institution should not deviate quickly from its waiting position, and see, worried about seeing the inflation established with customs duties established by the Head of State.
“He was kind, he was neutral, he was bad. Nice and neutral they don’t work,” he adds, still treating the “silly” and “Hatesser of Trump that should never have been there.”
The potential successor is supplied a drop in rates
Donald Trump himself designated Jerome Powell to take the lead in the monetary institution in 2018. His mandate ends in less than a year.
One of the possible candidates for his succession is Christopher Waller, who became governor of the Fed under the first mandate of Donald Trump, at the initiative of the latter. Christopher Waller made his difference on Friday by pleading with a rate fall from the next meeting of the Central Bank, at the end of July.
