Despite falling oil prices, prices paid at the pump by motorists rose again last week, according to figures from the Ministry of Energy Transition.
The reduction of bonuses from 30 to 10 cents (that of the State and Totalenergies) are obviously not unrelated to this outbreak.
The SP95-E10 thus earns 13.4 cents per liter in a week to 1.7514 euros, while diesel rises 10.4 cents per liter to 1.9059 euros.
This is likely to get worse as of January 1 when these two sales are definitively stopped. However, the government has been announcing for several weeks that a new device will replace the bonus that has applied since last April.
“This fuel bonus for workers will benefit households in the first five income deciles, that is, half of the households. They will benefit from a payment from the beginning of the year. We are still working on the planned scale, with the desire to significantly help those who travel a long way to work”, Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne explained on November 18.
