The disease stops below 30 “disorganized businesses”: the CPME wants to impose three days of public deficiency as in the private sector

The SME Confederation advances its proposals to reform health insurance and, therefore, reduce the social security deficit.

The CPME, a second organization of employers, calls on Tuesday “an urgent reform of health insurance” to try to contain the security deficit, particularly through three days of deficiency in the public as in the private sector.

Observing that “the Social Security deficit reached 18.2 billion euros in 2024, attracted more than 80% by health insurance spending”, with projections for 2025 “even more alarming”, the CPME offers attack diseases “, including the” spectacular “increase, especially among children under 30 years”, companies in disorganization and weigh with the weight of public accounts. ” “.” “.” “.” “.” “.” “.” “.” “.” “.”

The SME Confederation recommends “establishing three days of public deficiency as in the private sector”, to strengthen recipe control, better supervise the conditions of the judgments, “in relation to occupational medicine”, and fight more generally “against absenteeism and fraud linked to unjustified stops.”

To “get out of the illusion for free,” recommends double medical franchises, reduce the list of long -term conditions (ALD) and restart its criteria and “strengthen controls against prescription abuses.”

A savings measurement battery

To improve the efficiency of the health system, it recommends “displaying telemedicine”, but also to encourage the prescription of generic medicines (with the objective of the 85%substitution rate) to manage budgets with the help of artificial intelligence and, finally, “strengthen the fight against fraud, abroad and in vital letters.”

All these measures could, according to the CPME, “generate several billions of euros in savings, without sacrificing the quality of care.”

A few days before the declaration of Prime Minister François Bayrou on how he intends to find 40 billion euros next year to contain the public deficit (the cumulative states, social and local communities), all put their savings proposals.

Medef will do this Wednesday, also aimed at the health system.

“Any company can reduce its expenses by 2.35%, this is what represents the fall of 40 billion euros. Let’s stop saying that it is impossible for the State,” the CPME launched on Monday.
