The French subsidiary of Claire’s, a brand of accessories and jewels at low prices, was placed in judicial administration, indicated on Monday, July 28, the lawyer of the personnel representatives, confirming information on the local Delta FM radio.
The brand, known for its earrings, percabs and accessories for adolescents, had around 250 stores and 800 employees, according to the latest published accounts. The Paris Economic Activity Court opened a judicial administration procedure on July 24, with a six -month observation period at the end of which it will be decided whether possible a plan of continuation, with a possible buyer, or if the liquidation must pronounce.
