Everything will increase. Although the government had announced for the first time, in mid -July, the duplication of the annual ceiling of medical franchises and participations of flat rates, the Ministry of Health also plans to double its quantity and its daily roof.

BFM Business has obtained decrees projects, dated Wednesday, August 6 and sent to the president of the Council of the Health Insurance Caisses (UNCAM) Fabrice Gombert.

Daily ceilings will also double

It is read without surprise that the annual ceilings will be left well at 100 euros instead of 50 euros today, both for medical franchises and for flat participations. It will be effective within “two months” after the publication of the decree in the official magazine.

But the novelty is that even the daily ceilings will double, this time as of January 1, 2026.

The daily ceiling will go from 4 to 8 euros for consultations made by a medical assistant, in a physiotherapist or a nurse, for example. And this, either in the city, in an establishment or a health center, excluding hospitalization.

Up to 5 euros for the rest of a doctor

As for the amounts of medical franchises and participations of flat rates, at least they must double: therefore, this will give a dependent break, excluding the higher rates of 2 euros for a medication box, 4 euros for a consultation with a doctor or specialist in general. The deductible deduced from health transport reimbursements will fall from 4 to 8 euros.

However, the draft of the decree does not exclude the amount of fixed participation in medical consultations and radiological exams or medical biology analysis at 5 euros. In fact, it is written that “it cannot, without being less than 4 euros, exceed 5 euros.”

UNCAM has 21 days to give its opinion, which only has an advice value. If it does not abound in the government’s direction, therefore, you will not be prevented from forming these increases. The amounts of franchises and participations of flat rates will increase, such as daily ceilings, as of January 1, 2026.
