President Donald Trump signed a decree that extends for 90 days the break in terms of customs duties granted to China to continue trade negotiations, CNBC reported Monday, citing a White House official.
The president of the United States, Donald Trump, said on Monday that the negotiations with Beijing were “quite good”, a few hours before the theoretical end of the truce that had suspended its confrontation with customs duties.
Committed to spring in a commercial confrontation with exorbitant customs duties, Beijing and Washington had completed a 90 -day truce in May in Geneva (Switzerland).
This agreement has temporarily established the new US customs tasks in 30%Chinese products, while Beijing taxes in American products amount to 10%.
