No (yet) of customs tasks. In the United States, inflation remained stable in July. For a year, the increase in the CPI index is 2.7%, a lower pace than expected by consensus, after an increase of 2.7% in June as well.
For a month, the CPI index reached +0.2% in July, in line with the expectations of analysts, after +0.3% in June. The price increase was contained thanks to the cost of oil (-9.5% for a year).
By excluding volatile elements such as food and energy, the underlying consumer price index (“CPI central”) increased by 0.3% in July for a month, in line with consensus and after +0.2% in June. In an annual rate, the “central ICC” emerged at +3.1%, while consensus was taken into account +3.0% and after +2.9% in June.
