It is an extremely rare incident. This Wednesday, August 20 at the end of the morning, a passenger set fire to a recording counter located in Terminal 1 of the Milan-Malpensa airport in Italy.
“Half of the registration area is closed until operations are restored safely,” said a forum dedicated to this airport.
As we can see in the previous video, the fire caused a beginning to panic among the passengers present, but the disaster was quickly dominated by the Firefighters. The author of the facts was immediately arrested by security agents.
According to the Italian media, Liberoquoto, “a man, of Malian nationality, was unleashed, burning a paper basket and then damaging the recording counter and information screens.”
However, the passengers were evacuated from the terminal. “Airport operations continued without a significant interruption in air traffic,” firefighters said.
