“The debt is the slavery of the youngest”: François Bayrou called again on Friday “Boomers”, retired, not “selfless in the situation done to young people” in a defense in favor of their decision to ask for the confidence of the National Assembly on the desire of the country.
“And the demoralization of the youngest is more serious than any other demoralization in the country,” the Prime Minister argued apart from the inauguration of the Châlons-En-Champagne Agricultural Fair. “Young people have the right to be respected and supported instead of being constantly ignored and overwhelmed by the commitments that have been made in their name without asking for their opinion,” he insisted.
Critics of “boomers”
He returned to his criticisms expressed in TF1 against “Boomers”, responsible for having indebted the country “for its comfort.” “I received many youth messages that said for the first time:” We talked about us. “The generations of the Baby Boom, which have done a lot to the country, cannot disinterest the situation that is done to the young French,” he said. François Bayrou’s plan attacked (among others) to retirees for a white year on the revaluation of pensions and replacing a tax rate of 10% of the tax tax.
The Prime Minister, who will participate in the responsibility of his government on September 8 with the very high probability of being overthrown, also returned to criticism that dramatizes the financial situation of France.
“The maximum risk is doing nothing,” he insisted while “the debt load will be this year at 67 billion” euros and “more than 100 billion in 2029 according to the Court of Auditors.” He criticized those who, like the Socialists, want to reduce their goal by 44 billion savings next year. “This is the first step that will allow us in four years to return to this threshold where the debt no longer grows,” he justified, estimating this threshold of just under 3% of the public deficit informed to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
