Train, plane, meter … Who asks for strike (or not) in transport on September 10 and 18?

In the air and the railroad, as well as in Ratp, the unions have not adopted the same line as the two days of mobilization in September, including the September 10 launched on social networks.

With the approach of the two days of mobilization announced against the government budget savings projects on September 10 by a movement released on social networks, and on September 18 by the Interunion, a general description of the positions identified in the AFP transport unions.

• SNCF

The CGT-CHEMINOT, the first SNCF union, called to “participate massively” in the strike on September 10, in a press release published on its Facebook page. As for the date of September 18, the union has not released its position at this time. The UNSAH Railway Federation has not yet decided and brings together its federal office on Tuesday. At the national level, the Union of the UNSA convened on Friday, with the intervimate, on strike on September 18.

Sud -rail was the first great SNCF union to call the strike on September 10, in a statement published on August 21. Its federal secretary, Fabien Villedieu, told AFP on Friday that it is “a bit disappointed that the press release (of the Inter -union, the editor’s note) does not even speak of September 10”. He adds: “Before September 18, we have 10. This is the date that must be seized!” The union will decide in the coming weeks if it participates in the September 18 strike.

The CFDT Cheminots told AFP “that it was a call to the mobilization of September 18” and will decide their terms “next week”, without clearly, or not, to the strike.

• Airlines sector

The SNTTA, the majority union with French air controllers, announced a strike on Thursday, September 18. It requires “capture of integral inflation” in salary matters by 2024, but also an evolution of the governance of the profession. The Minister of Transportation, Philippe Tabarot, reacted this strike call on Friday by stating that he would not give in.

The South Air -Air Union requires a strike and blockade of the airport on September 10, joining the National Movement against Austerity. The National Union of Line Pilots (SNPL) told AFP that it still did not have a position “so much in the movement of September 10 and 18”. Plan to consult your bodies “next week.”

On the Air France side, the CGT Air France foresees a call for the strike on September 10 and 18. Fo Air France told AFP not “detained” on both dates and plans to decide after a meeting scheduled for September 2. For the CFDT Air France, no participation scheduled for the day of September 10, but a call for the strike is “probable” on September 18, with a decision made on Monday in the last.

• Ratp

On the Ratp side, the four majority unions of the Ratp, the CGT, FO, the Ansa of Insa and the CFE-CGC, requested the strike on September 18 in a joint statement published on Friday. The Syndicate The Base, a majority among RER drivers, called on the strike on September 10 in a shared press release on its Facebook page. He did not indicate if he joined the mobilization of September 18.
