With new safe work strikes, many of them prescribed in teleconsultation will no longer be accepted

Since September 1, doctors who prescribe work stops in paper format must use new and safer Cerfa forms. The latter cannot photocopize, doctors are no longer allowed to scan them to share them with their teleconsultation games.

Be attentive if you are sick and use teleconsultation to obtain an emergency work strike. Since September 1, health insurance has required doctors, when they cannot prescribe a dematerialized stop, use a new paper form, safer and, therefore, difficult to falsify, thanks to seven authentication points (holographic label, magnetic ink, etc.).

The measure is officially in force since the publication of a decree in the official magazine on July 1, but a period of tolerance was granted during the summer period. Now back to school, health insurance will be uncompromising. However, this new way runs the risk of altering the habits of certain patricians, especially among those who prescribe stops in the teleconsultation.

Scan and PDF of paper rejected paper forms

In fact, depending on the level of updating of their commercial software, doctors do not use dematerialized work stoppage, automatically television in the patient’s primary insurance (CPAM). In this case, doctors sometimes share, through teleconsultation platforms, hand -completed paper papers scanns or forms completed using text processing software and then exported to the PDF format, but whose appearance is identical to the paper version. Then, charge patients to print them and then send them by cash.

It is no longer possible. Contacted, the National Health Insurance Fund (CNAM) indicates that “scans and photocopies are no longer accepted and considered false.” “Telecansultation companies must television work stops (dematerialized work warning) or send a safe Cerf to the patient,” he said.

Doctors responsible for compliance with stops

Requested by BFM Business, the doctolib platform is less categorical. Because it markets professionals who subscribe to the “Clinique & Financial” software (C&F). Thanks to this characteristic, “the stops are systematically according to the new health insurance requirements,” he assures the European leader in electronic health. “We have also carried out several information campaigns with professionals to support them in these regulatory developments,” he added.

But be careful with subtleties. First, all doctors registered in Doctolib do not necessarily have access to C&F software if they are already working with another separate commercial software. And above all, “in our remote control module, Doctolib does not generate documents,” warns the platform. “When a doctor prescribes a work strike after a teleconsultation, it does so through its usual commercial software (for example, C&F, or other tool of your choice). The compliance of the document is, therefore, exclusively of the practitioner and its tool,” concludes the platform.

In case of doubt, if you perform a teleconsultation, make sure your practitioner is well equipped to prescribe a work strike in dematerialized mode and television directly to Social Security. However, the unemployment of dematerialized work is widespread, this represents 8 out of 10 stops according to health insurance figures.
