The Head of State announced on Monday that the reform that was to be presented on December 15 will finally be presented on January 10, 2023. According to Matignon’s entourage, this decision to postpone was taken by the Élysée in consultation with the Prime Minister .
This postponement is also due to the discontent of the unions that, due to their internal elections, believe that they have not had enough time to discuss the “balance” of the reform.
From January 2, Elisabeth Borne will begin consultations with unions and employers’ organizations.
