Fight against social and tax fraud
Gabriel Attal also announces his desire to intensify the fight against social and tax fraud. His “first priority” will be health insurance. “In this matter, I have a clear objective: I want to double the recovery of fraud as of 2024, from today’s 250 million euros to 500 million a year,” explained the minister, who still estimates that working in the dark “represents a deficit of 5 to 7 billion euros, more than the annual budget of the Ministry of Culture”.
