Energy prices: companies in difficulty may defer “the payment of their taxes and contributions”

Invited to France Info on Tuesday, Elisabeth Borne also asked energy companies to “allow companies in difficulty to spread their bills” during the first months of the year.

Prime Minister Élisabeth Borne announced on Tuesday that companies in difficulty and particularly bakeries, hard hit by the increase in energy prices, will be able to “request the deferral of the payment of their taxes and social security contributions” to alleviate his box.
