According to concordant sources from BFMTV, here are announcements that Elisabeth Borne will make on Tuesday regarding the pension reform.
• Legal age and duration of contributions
The legal age from which it is possible to retire will be raised progressively from September 1, 2023, at a rate of 3 months per year of birth.
It will thus be set at 63 years and 3 months in 2027 at the end of the five-year period, to then reach the goal of 64 years in 2030.
To benefit from a full pension it will be necessary, as of 2027 (instead of 2035), to have worked 43 years or 172 quarters.
• Long runs
No one who started working early will be forced to work after the age of 44.
Those who started before the age of 16 will be able to leave at 58 years of age; between 16 and 18 years from the age of 60; between 18 and 20 years from 62 years.
As today, disabled or incapacitated people will be able to leave at the age of 62 at the full rate, disabled workers from the age of 55.
• Difficulty
More employees will be able to benefit from the professional prevention account with more rights.
Each year, more than 60,000 additional people will be covered by the professional prevention account.
• Special diets
New employees of the RATP, the electricity and gas sector (EDF, etc.), the Banque de France, notaries and CESE members will join the general pension scheme.
• Small withdrawals
The minimum pension will increase by 100 euros per month for a complete career. A worker with the SMIC throughout his career will have a pension of 85% of the net SMIC.
This revaluation will also affect current pensions but will require new consultations before the Council of Ministers on January 23, in which the reform will be presented.
