The Government wants to dedicate 1,000 million euros to the prevention of professional burnout

Elisabeth Borne announced the creation of an “investment fund” dedicated to the prevention of professional burnout endowed with 1,000 million euros.

The government presented its pension reform on Tuesday. In addition to postponing the legal age of departure, the executive also announced a fund for the prevention of professional burnout endowed with 1,000 million euros. This fund will focus on the burnout suffered by certain professions due to difficult working conditions, such as carrying heavy loads or awkward postures.

This prevention fund will be created within Medicare to support hospitals and medical-social establishments. “We are going to ask the professional branches to negotiate agreements for the prevention of professional burnout in professions identified as difficult by the Social Security authorities,” said the Minister of Labor, Olivier Dussopt.
