VTC unions sign an agreement for a minimum income of 7.65 euros per trip

An agreement was signed this Wednesday between VTC platforms and driver unions that guarantees a minimum rate of 7.65 euros per trip.

VTC races are also subject to inflation. Negotiated last December between the driver unions and the platforms, the agreement on the rate increase was signed on Wednesday, January 18.

It imposes a minimum income of 7.65 euros per race. An agreement that is far from being unanimous among the unions in the sector where social dialogue is still in its infancy.

The agreement, which provides for the implementation of a minimum income per trip as of February 1, would raise the price of the smallest trip to around 10.20 euros for the passenger in an application such as Uber, including taxes. Three of the seven unions refused to sign the agreement because they were too unambitious for their liking.
