The French armies will benefit from a budget of 400,000 million euros during the period 2024-2030, within the framework of the future military programming law (LPM), that is, a third more than the allocation of the previous LPM, has announced President Emmanuel Macron on Friday.
In addition, the budget allocated to military intelligence will increase by almost 60% during the period 2024-2030, Emmanuel Macron also announced. The budget of the Military Intelligence Directorate (DRM) and the Defense Intelligence and Security Directorate (DRSD) will be doubled, he specified, with the objective of “having a war of advance.”
