We address a fairly wealthy clientele who are looking for domestic staff for their properties, in France or abroad. This includes many positions: butlers, property caretaker couples, nannies, chefs, drivers, etc. Our first mission is to get staff, people with experience, verifiable references, manners and know-how.

We support them in the regulatory, labor and tax aspects. This is important for our foreign clients, for example, who buy real estate in France but are not aware of the regulations. We also offer these services abroad.

Subsequently, we developed other services to meet the demand of our clients: now we are businessmen instead of clients, who do not want to be due to discretion or organization. The staff is hired and managed. Finally, mainly on the Côte d’Azur, we recruit crew members for the boats.

How do the jobs you hold correspond to a particular profession that requires appropriate training?

They are special jobs because the staff is at the service of a family or a personality, unlike the hotel industry where customers change, so you have to adapt to the employer, know him well to be able to anticipate the service and provide it without looking behind the scenes. These professions require discretion, because the great fortunes and celebrities do not want what happens in their properties revealed to the public. Lastly, you need know-how and good manners, our staff intervenes when necessary, knows the rules of the table and decorum.

We have two types of candidates: those who already have at least five years of experience in families of the same social level as our clients, and those who have worked in luxury hotels or international palaces, and who have a good base. Today, the problem is that there are hospitality schools like Lausanne, or butler schools, but there are no domestic staff schools in France, and very few internationally. We plan for the year 2023 to open our school to train high-quality domestic workers.

How is the demand for these services?

There is a very high demand, but very few candidates that meet the criteria, even if we receive applications every day. Therefore, our job is to hunt for candidates.

In our business, salaries are very high and increase considerably because people with skills and experience can claim higher salaries.
