Pensions: the SNCF unions do not call a strike on Saturday, only to demonstrate

The unions have decided not to penalize the travelers and denounce “the demagogic polemics on the right to strike” launched according to them by the Government.

The representative unions of the SNCF do not call a strike for Saturday, the fourth day of interprofessional mobilization against the pension reform, but they encourage railway workers to “participate in demonstrations throughout the territory,” they announced on Monday.

With the exception of Ile-de-France and Occitanie, most of the country will be on vacation on Saturday, the first day off for zone B.

The unions have decided not to penalize the travelers and denounce “the demagogic polemics on the right to strike” launched according to them by the Government.

This Monday, Clément Beaune, Minister of Transport, had called on the unions “not to interrupt vacation trips” on Saturday.
