The unions expect a massive mobilization to put pressure on the executive, less than a week after the -stormy- debates in the National Assembly end. More than 200 demonstrations are organized throughout France this Saturday, on the occasion of the fourth day of action against the pension reform.
The first three days of action brought together between 757,000 and 1.27 million people, according to the authorities. And between “almost two million” and “more than 2.5 million”, according to the unions. This time, intelligence expects 600,000 to 800,000 protesters across the country, including 90,000 to 120,000 in Paris, where the parade will go from Republic to Nation.

A first on a Saturday
It is the first time since the beginning of the movement that the unions organize demonstrations on Saturday, “the opportunity for a certain number of employees who could not mobilize during the week” to do so, stressed in RMC Marie Buisson, general secretary of the CGT for Education , because “three days of strike are three days less salary”.
Two new days of mobilization are already planned: on Thursday, February 16, on the eve of the end of the examination of the bill in the National Assembly, and on Tuesday, March 7, on the occasion of its arrival in the Senate.
