March 7 strike: 3.5 million demonstrators according to the CGT, 1.28 million according to the Ministry of the Interior

This new day of mobilization exceeds, according to the union, that of January 31, during which the CGT had counted 2.8 million people on the streets.

New record since the beginning of the mobilization against the pension reform. The CGT has 3.5 million protesters across France for this day of March 7, including 700,000 in Paris, according to what BFMTV of the union organization learned.

The Interior Ministry announces 1.28 million protesters across the country, including 81,000 in Paris. The independent firm Occurrence counted 68,000 protesters in the capital on Tuesday.

This day thus exceeds January 31 with 2.8 million people on the street, according to the CGT. The Ministry of the Interior had identified 1.271 million protesters on the same date.
