Team building at the service of business issues

[CONTENU PARTENAIRE] Teamwork has established itself as a popular tool for companies. CBR Team Building has expanded its range to offer games that overcome different challenges, such as onboarding or CSR. Richard Toquet, Director of Development, tells us more.

What do the activities offered by CBR Team Building contribute?

CBR offers about twenty products ranging from evening games (quizzes, blind tests) to more advanced games such as nudge, which respond to corporate CSR issues such as treasure hunts, museum rallies, or city neighborhood surveys. We are really B to B oriented, and have launched a small B to C branch with our flagship AR games.

Often, on the occasion of a team meeting or an end-of-year review, companies contact us to organize a team building, and the idea is to create a team spirit by proposing games where people interact and work together. .

You recently released an animation around the push, what is it?

Nudge is taken from behavioral sciences, it is a gentle incentive to improve one’s behavior, society, environment or others. Well-known examples are the fly in the toilets at Amsterdam airport to encourage men to aim better and thus reduce cleaning costs, or the reduction of the size of the plates in Google to avoid food waste. The push is non-binding, benevolent and transparent.

So we started from this nudge theory, and a little over a year ago we launched a two-hour animation format, where we first teach what nudge is, showing examples and their results. Participants can imagine how they could use it in their services. We do several team workshops, including one more focused on your business issues. It is a very popular format.

What are the trends around team building?

After the Covid years, we have many requests about museums and heritage. The trend is towards CSR-oriented demands. We have games to meet all these expectations.

Today, teamwork has become more democratic, it is no longer reserved for large groups. Small businesses come to us to make games with teams of ten people. That is why we have created an offer that adapts to them and that is competitive.

We also work a lot with large companies offering them gamification products. For example, we have collaborated with Safran Aircraft Engines to introduce new employees to their industrial sites through a unifying game, or for the city of Issy les Moulineaux for an integration game for their staff. We work to create games that facilitate onboarding or retention of talent, discovery of premises, product launches, awareness (cybersecurity, best practices, etc.), training, etc.
