The Swiss federal prosecutor’s office confirmed on Sunday that it had opened investigations into the circumstances surrounding the takeover of Credit Suisse bank by rival UBS.

The Swiss federal prosecutor’s office confirmed this Sunday to AFP that it opened investigations into the circumstances in which the takeover of Credit Suisse bank by its rival and compatriot UBS took place.

The federal prosecutor’s office indicates, in an email, that it has “issued investigation orders” after having carried out “an inventory of the situation with all the internal services involved” and having “contacted with the national and cantonal authorities.” This confirms information from the Financial Times.
