At the call of the different unions, hundreds of thousands of protesters are expected in the streets for this eleventh day of mobilization against the pension reform.

After the meeting between Elisabeth Borne and the eight main unions, will the protesters still be numerous enough to hit the pavement? In any case, the message of the inter-union is clear:

According to a territorial intelligence note that BFMTV was able to consult, 340 actions are planned throughout France and up to 800,000 protesters are expected. The map published by the CGT lists at least 140 rallies planned on the sidelines of this new day of mobilization against the pension reform, this Thursday, April 6.

Between 60,000 and 90,000 protesters are expected in Paris

In the capital, this Thursday, the demonstration will begin at Les Invalides at 2 pm in the direction of Place d’Italie.

While the last day of the mobilization brought together 93,000 people according to the police, this time territorial intelligence expects to see between 60,000 and 90,000 opponents of the pension reform. As a reminder, the CGT had announced the figure of 450,000 demonstrators, at the end of the tenth act on March 28.

Pending the celebration of this eleventh day of mobilization, the inter-union (CGT, FO, CFDT, FSU, Unsa, CFTC, Solidaires, etc.) plans to meet at the FO headquarters in Paris, this Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. to decide on the sequence of events around the movement against the pension reform.
