The base contract amount is 367 million euros ($401 million) and could increase to 1.2 billion euros ($1.4 billion) in case of contract extensions in 2028 and then in 2033, the group said in a statement. .
Initial contract awarded to Bombardier
This agreement, which follows a contract awarded in 2012 to Bombardier Transportation (since it was acquired by Alstom) “provides for the continued operation and maintenance by Alstom of the Camden and Brunswick lines of the MARC (Maryland Area Rail Commuter) network. “, 63 km and 119 km long, according to the press release.
