Neon France is above all a family story. Founded in 1938 by Pierre de Lavignère, the company then had glass blowing workshops. 85 years later, lighting has undergone profound changes and the business has evolved considerably. Today, Neon France designs and manufactures lighting solutions for furniture and points of sale. “We are specialists in equipping shops and street furniture”, adds Xavier Thouraud, who represents the fourth generation at the helm of Néon France.
“Our clients are the installers whom we support in the development of the project to offer the most aesthetic and economical solution possible”. Particularly affected by the crisis linked to Covid-19 as well as by the conflict between Russia and Ukraine that caused a drastic increase in the price of raw materials, in particular wood and metal, the sector had to face a drop in its activity. “Many projects have been abandoned or suspended, but we see this as an opportunity to reinvent our lighting systems and move towards more efficient solutions”.
Support throughout the process
With a project office integrated into its structure, Néon France can accompany its clients from the feasibility analysis to the delivery of the final project. “We have a stock of more than one million euros and we only use short circuits, which allows us to be especially reactive with our customers” explains Xavier Thouraud. At Néon France, innovation is an integral part of the approach. Always in search of new technologies to be able to respond to constantly changing demands, the company makes technological surveillance its priority.
Despite a drop in its turnover related to the Covid-19 period, Néon France remains one of the leaders in the French market, due to the quality of its products and its services. His goal now is to support this transition and continue working to simplify the use and miniaturize lighting solutions.
