The furniture and decoration giant IKEA also wants to take advantage of the protest against the pension reform whose saucepans have become a symbol in recent days… It has launched an advertising campaign.
The use of “portable sound devices” is prohibited
While Emmanuel Macron was traveling in the Hérault on Thursday, a prefectural decree was issued prohibiting in particular “the use of portable sound devices”. Without being specifically mentioned, the gendarmes opened the bags at the entrance to the town and prohibited them, according to an LCI journalist present at the scene.
It was enough for IKEA, which humorously took the opportunity to highlight its own pans through a tweet that ensures that “at this price it can make noise.”
“Sauces That Move France Forward”
Already yesterday, the manufacturer of kitchen utensils Cristel had responded on Twitter to the president who had declared, during his trip to the Lower Rhine, that “it is not the pans that will advance France”.
For this reason, in a mischievous tone, Cristel tweeted: “Mr. President, at Cristel we make pans that make France advance!!!”.
