“We are in full swing!” Naumy’s general manager, Lin Can makes no secret of his ambitions. Founded in 2014 with the opening of its first store in Fleury-Merogis, in Essonne, the ready-to-wear brand at bargain prices aimed at “all generations and all genders” has multiplied its openings in France in recent years.
Nicknamed the “French Primark”, Naumy now has nearly 40 stores across mainland France, an e-shop and 100,000 references. As L’Informé has announced, the brand that promises to “discover fashion at the best price” will open its first store in Paris in the coming days, a 1,500-square-meter outlet not far from the Bastille. A small revolution for the discount brand that until then favored locations in commercial parks and shopping centers.
Its offer has also evolved over time with, in addition to clothing, departments dedicated to makeup, lingerie, accessories, sports collections… On the other hand, only women’s clothing seems to be available at the moment on the brand’s website.
Target 100 stores in France
If Naumy first conquered the cities of Île-de-France where it has eleven stores, the brand has gradually established itself in other regions. Whether in Normandy (Caen), Brittany (Brest) or Hauts-de-France (Lille). And she has no intention of stopping there.
The objective set is not hidden and is even listed on the brand’s website: “The Parisian company has set itself the goal of conquering France, planning the opening of numerous points of sale throughout the territory: 100 stores in total to make Naumy a brand closer to you!”.
After France, Naumy intends to head to Belgium with planned openings in Brussels, Namur and Liège. Meanwhile, it plans to continue its development in France, where fifteen openings are still planned this year and as many next year.
