Satisfaction on the part of the SNCF. This Tuesday, the 10,000 OuiGo Classic Train tickets put up for sale at 1 euro to celebrate the first anniversary of this offer found buyers in a few hours despite technical problems on Ouigo.com. This generated some frustration among netizens.
Given this success, the SNCF announces that it will sell 10,000 additional tickets, always at 1 euro. “There won’t be enough to go around,” the operator laughs.
An offer reserved for trips on the OuiGo Classic Train
Remember that this offer refers to a trip to be made between May 24 and July 5, but it must not refer to the weekend of Pentecost (May 29). Buyers can only purchase one ticket at 1 euro per person.
These are all Ouigo Classic Train destinations: Angers, Le Mans, Chartres, Blois, Nantes, Dijon or even Lyon. In total, fourteen cities can be accessed with the Ouigo Classic Train on the Paris-Lyon and Paris-Nantes lines.
OuiGo Classic Train is basically the promise of a low and fixed price (10 to 30 euros per trip or even 5 euros for children under 12) in exchange for longer travel times (Paris-Lyon in 5 hours) and trains Corail from the 80’s. which have been cleaned up (but not modernized).
