The United States largely accounted for
Commercial (Airbus, Boeing, ATR, Embraer), business (Dassault, Gulfstream) fighter (Rafale, F-35, Eurofighter) jets and various helicopters will be on display on the tarmac around the former Le Bourget air terminal north of Paris. The first four days will be reserved for professionals. In fact, this edition will be marked by a “strong participation” from the United States, with 425 exhibitors, the second contingent in volume after the 1,130 French, from giants in the sector to SMEs and many emerging companies. Le Bourget also wants to open a window to the future of the sector at a time when projects for flying taxis and other machines abound, which promise to revolutionize air mobility, in particular by decarbonizing it.
The sector will hire 25,000 people in 2023
Although world air traffic has almost returned to its pre-crisis level, the sector is still weighed down by problems with supply chains, but also with labor, and Gifas has this showcase to publicize that its one 440 companies need to hire 25,000 people this year, aimed at young people and job seekers, who will benefit from free admission.
