Marvel Studios have employed countless A-list stars up to this point, from Robert Downey Jr. to Brie Larson to Oscar Isaac. Although the Disney-owned company hasn’t captured all the major Hollywood stars. One such person who has yet to land a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is none other than Zac Efron. Interestingly, however, there have been rumors that Marvel was trying (or trying) to pick an “Efron boy” for a role. Now, in the midst of all this speculation, the star herself has come up with an honest opinion.
It is quite surprising that Zac Efron has not yet prepared to play an MCU hero or any other major character in a superhero franchise. He is even more shocking when you consider how many people ask him if he would be ready for the role. Efron recently appeared on the show tonight , where Jimmy Fallon mentioned rumors that Marvel is looking for someone to be his “type”. In response, Efron made a simple but correct comment:
Oh good? Wow, they could just call me.
I mean, there’s an idea, right? Interestingly, this isn’t the first time something like this has happened with Marvel’s casting. A few years ago, a report indicated that the company was looking for an “alison brie type” to play Jennifer Walters / She-Hulk. in that time, Brie responded to the report. , saying she was “flattered” to be a “boy” now when it comes to auditions. Eventually, the role went to the talented Tatiana Maslany, but few would probably deny that Brie was an intriguing choice for the gamma-powered heroine.
there are certainly many Marvel characters that Zac Efron could play , and there’s one hero in particular he’s been linked to. The latest rumors claim that he may be in the running to embody the latest version of the famous X-Man Wolverine. Speaking on this, Efron provided diplomatic thoughts:
I think Hugo [Jackman] it’s still doing pretty well. I have to give it to him.
Until recently, I would have said that the Best beer ever Star shouldn’t have worried about Hugh Jackman getting his adamantium claws back. However, last week, with Ryan Reynolds, he confirmed it returns as Logan in the highly anticipated Dead pool 3 . Even if the stars did not react to the question about Wolverine’s return one could imagine that the two, along with Kevin Feige of Marvel Studios, have it all figured out.
Despite the imminent return of the OG X-Man, Zac Efron could still play a different variant of the character. A new X-Men team seems like a certainty for the MCU, and Efron could definitely get his hands dirty or play a completely different character. It’s unclear at this point whether or not he gets a role in one of Marvel’s upcoming films, but the studio may want to keep an eye on him, especially if he’s really looking for a “guy.”
