Oscar Isaac’s difficult moment in Bryan Singer’s finale x men movie, X-Men: Apocalypseit has been extensively documented. The star came to tell her time like the bad owner was unbearable . How does Isaac feel almost seven years later? Did your tone change after giving another superhero franchise a chance, Marvel? knight of the moon, a series within the reach of all those who have a Disney + subscription ?
while talking to him New York Times Isaac explained why he was initially on board to board the apocalypse character and does not “repudiate” the work he has done in the timeline of the Marvel movie. The actor said his initial enthusiasm for the role was partly due to screen sharing with such talented co-stars:
No, I don’t deny it. I know exactly what I wanted to do and why I did it. There were these amazing actors involved that I really wanted to work with, [James] McAvoy and [Michael] Fassbender and Jennifer Lawrence. I collected X-Men growing up and I loved Apocalypse, I just found him a weird, weird character. And then you get there and you say, ‘Oh my God, I have all these prosthetics. I have a dress. I can’t move, I don’t see anyone. All these actors I wanted to work with, I don’t even see who they are.
It seems like most of Isaac’s frustration stems from the fact that he wears the awkward Apocalypse costume and can’t seamlessly interact with some of his favorite fellow actors, a complaint I sympathize with. I imagine one of the perks of being an actor and supporting one of these successful franchises would be being able to mingle with some of the best working actors.
While it’s a far from ideal situation for the actor, it doesn’t feel like Isaac’s time at Fox x men the universe was all terrible:
I still remember that period fondly. I wish it was a better movie and they took better care of the character, but those are the risks.
It’s doubly annoying that the actor’s time spent as Apocalypse wasn’t satisfying, considering he was an X-Men fan and the character’s portrayal wasn’t handled particularly well. However, I’m happy to know that Oscar Isaac looks back on his time as Apocalypse with some flair and didn’t hesitate to fully take on superhero roles. If superhero movies had snubbed him, we might not have seen him in his starring role at Marvel. high-level dark series Moon Knight.
Although a comeback as Moon Knight has yet to be announced as one of the wonder movie coming soon or another Marvel Disney + series, it’s hard to imagine it won’t somehow return after critics and fans alike. praised the work of Isaac in the series
Given the darker tone of knight of the moon, perhaps an appearance in the next Marvel Spade Would the film be perfect for Isaac’s return to the MCU? We’ll let you know if Blade gets any further updates …
