The actress revealed to the American publication that the film will chronicle ten years in the life of Christian Dior, from his first collection in February 1947 until his death in 1957. The film will trace the beginnings of his fashion house thanks to his right-hand man Raymonde . Zehnacker and her love affair with a younger man, Jacques Benita.

It is not yet known who will be assigned the other two roles. “Dior was a very private man. We know very little about him. He was not someone extravagant like the other great couturiers or the great icons of popular culture. But for all that he was very fascinating,” said Elsa Zylberstein, adding: “For That’s why we still talk about him today.”
