A “royal wedding” in the last season of The crown. Netflix revealed Monday night that Charles and Camilla’s wedding will be chronicled in the sixth and final season of the hit series, which is scheduled to premiere later this year.
The Netflix UK and Ireland account on X (ex-Twitter) posted earlier this week a photo of an invitation to the ceremony, which took place in 2005 at Windsor Castle in St George’s Chapel.
“After six seasons, seven years and three castings, The crown “This year is coming to an end,” the post read. “We’ll be back soon, but here’s a sneak peek of what’s in store for us this final season.”

Released in 2016, The crown It tells the story of the British royal family from the death of King George VI and the accession of his daughter Elizabeth to the throne. The last season will especially evoke the death of Diana and the meeting of William and Kate.
