Jeffrey Dahmer’s victim friend calls Ryan Murphy for the Netflix series

Time Evan Peters played evil characters Over the course of their careers and Ryan Murphy has created his fair share of true crime miniseries, the two probably haven’t worked on such a gritty and discussed project as Dahmer – Monster: The story of Jeffrey Dahmer. Many have criticized the series and now a friend of some of Dahmer’s victims is reviewing the Netflix series.

The speaker is Eric Wynn, who was the only black drag queen at Milwaukee’s 219 Club around the same time Jeffrey Dahmer committed many of his murders. wynn said The New York Times who met Eddie Smith and Anthony Hughes across the room. He said he noticed over the years that the number of black men entering the club was decreasing, saying “suddenly there were fewer”. Dahmer attended this club and between 1978 and 1991 he killed 17 men, including Smith and Hughes. Asked about Netflix’s choice to produce the series, which is one of the most talked about shows this fall TV program 2022 Wyn said:

I couldn’t be more wrong, more inappropriate, and that’s a media claim. I thought it was better than that.

Many have now talked about the show, saying they don’t understand why this story needed to be dramatized. A sister of one of Dahmer’s victims shared that watching the show was like “experiencing it all again”. She also pointed out that the families of the victims were not asked for permission to carry out the program. A reporter who covered Dahmer’s story with crew members those who worked on the miniseries also expressed complaints about the show.

Eric Wynn explained that the series disappointed him in part due to Ryan Murphy’s involvement. Before DahmerMurphy had created productions such as The Normal Heart, based on the work of AIDS activist Larry Kramer. Amid the controversy, a person on Twitter criticized the show, saying he “exploited the trauma” of the victims.

Last week we also heard from Paul Ksicinski, the former lawyer of a victim who survived him meeting with the deceased murderer. He explained that her client, Tracy Edwards, was forever traumatized by the situation. The traumatic event in Edwards’ life is shown in the first episode of Dahmer.

Time Dahmer and he Most viewed series on Netflix since season 4 of Strange things released this summer, the speech surrounding it it was critical. And with the backlash still going on, one wonders if Ryan Murphy himself could be talking about the matter.
