If Booba gets more talk about him for his hunt for fraudulent influencers, the rapper seems to be returning to his first passion, rap. This Friday, the 45-year-old artist shared a new song, titled KOA.
“Tonight at midnight,” he announced soberly on Thursday. in a tweetalong with a photo of the project.
In 2021, Booba had indicated that his album ULTRA it would be the last of his career, which lasted more than 20 years. But since then, the rapper has been confident that he will continue to make music and release mixtapes and singles. Last July, the interpreter of boulbi for example shared the title Telephonein collaboration with the Italian artist Sfera Ebbasta.
A new album to come?
Shortly before the release of KOA, a rumor that Booba was planning to release a new album gained traction on social media. In a series of tweets, one user streamed 12 never-before-released tracks from the rapper. The ‘Duke of Boulogne’ spread excerpts on his different social networks that range from ten seconds to more than two minutes.
If they actually have no connection to each other, these different titles have been grouped together under what appears to be an album cover called White Nemesis – with reference to the project nero nemesis by Booba released in 2015. The author of this thread insinuates that it would be the rapper’s next album.
But White Nemesis is really just a fantasy fueled by Booba fans for several years. It all started with a photo of a computer screen taken by the artist in 2019, in which we can see a file called “Blanco Nemesis”.
Since then, Booba listeners have regularly revived the rumor in hopes that the rapper will reveal the contents of this file. Despite speculation, the artist has never reacted to or confirmed this information.
