“Honored” to be in Deauville, Jesse Eisenberg opens his beach shack

American actor Jesse Eisenberg, whose film When you’re done saving the world is screening this Sunday night at the Deauville American Film Festival, which runs through September 11, shortly before the beach hut that bears his name opened.

Under a scorching sun, the headliner of The social network, all smiles, took the time to sign some autographs and pose in front of the board on his behalf. Thus, he joins John Travolta, Sean Connery or Clint Eastwood, who also have their board.

“As you can probably tell from my physique and skin tone, I rarely go to the beach, so that’s a wonderful reason to come to the beach now,” she joked.

“I feel very honored”

“It’s amazing to me that there is a city in France that celebrates American cinema because as an American we think of France as the pinnacle and so I am so honored to be welcomed and to have my film screened,” he added.

Known for his portrayal of Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, in The social networkk (2010), Jesse Eisenberg is equally at home in blockbusters like zombie land than in more intimate films like Nursery.

When you’re done saving the worldhis debut film was also presented, out of competition, at the Cannes Film Festival last May.
