Daredevil is back in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with his action-packed film e spicy appearances in she-hulkand viewers are undoubtedly ready for the next chapter in the Matt Murdock saga. Luckily, we’re guaranteed to get a lot more out of Fearless Man in the end, because Daredevil: Born again is coming to Disney + . Star Charlie Cox recently shared some thoughts on the show, notably expressing some of the moments she hopes she could create within the actual MCU that simply wasn’t possible with the Netflix original series.
from netflix Reckless was an acclaimed superhero game that is now available to anyone with a Disney + subscription binge now, making comparisons to the superhero’s most recent appearances easier. As great as the show was, it had its share of budget and scope shortcomings. But Charlie Cox seems happy that Disney and Marvel Studios can pay a higher bill than he was used to, and spoke to GQ about the changes he’d like to see that would ultimately make his Daredevil a little more like idealized Marvel Version A. comics:

Charlie Cox doesn’t want to Daredevil: Born again to go full throttle by injecting the show full of digital enemies and CGI-laden footage, but would like the new show to lean in portraying his character as more acrobatic and agile. You are probably looking for something similar to how she-hulk handled the character, which involved Matt Murdock stepping out of a top floor parking lot with relative ease. (Not to mention falling into a perfect superhero pose, as if out of nowhere.) Feats like this didn’t happen in the Netflix iteration of Recklessalthough in the context of a more grounded and realistic series, it may have been a little odd to watch, especially in the midst of the single-shot combat sequences.
The actor continued his thoughts Daredevil: Born againand added another element to the character that the Netflix show failed to deliver. Specifically, he touched on the character’s baton toss, which he hopes will be incorporated into the new series:
We can keep it with these little moments. With batons in particular, we’ve never been able to do anything on our show where Daredevil is bouncing a truncheon off a wall and taking someone out because you physically can’t. It’s not safe or possible … just those little moments would elevate the scenes and make the show even more recognizable for comics. These are things that happen almost episodically when you read the numbers.
Charlie Cox is everything for Daredevil: Born again using CGI, as long as it is done with moderation in mind. It seems like a reasonable catch given that the original series thrived in part because of that absolutely amazing action sequences . It also seems like something that has a good chance of happening, given this she-hulk seemed to follow the formula that Cox hopes his next Disney + series will emulate. At least when it comes to Daredevil, because a ton of CGI has clearly been used with Tatiana Maslany herself.
I guess we won’t know for sure until the show is here, which may be a while since filming hasn’t started yet. However, momentum appears to be growing at a steady pace given the Hawk eye presented Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin at the MCU. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see the two collide she-hulkbut let’s imagine sooner or later they will connect and we can probably expect to see Fisk take a stick in the head.
Daredevil: Born again is in development for Disney +, but anyone who wants to watch it right now can watch the original series there or watch it she-hulk. There is also a Echo series as is Cox allegedly involved in so we hope to see him soon.
