According to court documents obtained by Page 6, Kanye West recently filed a “disclosure statement” following the hiring of his sixth divorce attorney in the legal battle with Kim Kardashian. This declaration is a legal document that is usually presented when an agreement is about to be reached. It is also worth mentioning that the two have reached an agreement on how to divide their assets. However, some of West’s more recent media appearances seem to indicate that he is not ready to give in on some aspects of his divorce from the founder of SKIMS.
The former couple still appear to be working on a custody agreement for their four children: North (9), Saint (6), Chicago (4) and Psalm (3). Kardashian said her kids spend most of their time with her, an idea the musician shared on social media. West also shared a brutally honest message that she wanted her children to split their education between the private school they currently attend and Donda Academy, a no-credit school the rapper founded in Chicago. Kardashian would be wary as the school’s merits have been hotly debated lately.
It was also recently reported that Kim Kardashian was not in personal contact with her former partner. After legally separating from Ye, the businesswoman formed a relationship with comedian Pete Davidson. The rapper then shot Davidson through song lyrics and started attacking him on social media. Since the musician recently made anti-Semitic remarks, Kardashian chose not to interact with West at all and the former spouses would only speak through attendees when coordinating their children’s schedules.
While Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have already made efforts to raise their children peacefully, the combination of West’s “White Lives Matter” controversy and a series of insulting and insulting statements against the Kardashian family seems to have taken a toll on matters.
