The end is unfortunately near for Strange things fans, as the fifth and final season of Netflix’s hit has been announced. Not much is known about what the last season will be Strange things it will include, but its star Millie Bobby Brown has an idea that is the opposite of the sci-fi series that may be crazy enough to work.
In an interview with 24 News Bulletin Total Film’s sister site (via Game Radar), Millie Bobby Brown proposes the idea of writing an episode of Strange things before the end of the show. He also wants to do an episode, preferably the series finale, similar to Philadelphia is always sunnyThe famous musical episode of, deepened this point by saying:
I wish I was the writer! I’d do it more like a musical. But, you know, they don’t trust me, what they should [laughs]. Trust me: I can do the Stranger Things ending and that would be great. I think it should be like It’s always sunny in Philadelphia. Have you already seen the musical episode? It has to end like this: a musical episode.
The episode mentioned in the Games Radar story is the finale of season 13 of the weather is always good, “Mac finds his pride.” In the episode, Rob McElhenney’s character Mac is recruited for a Pride Parade float, but struggles to date his father, Luther (Gregory Scott Cummins). In turn, Mac decides to start a dance, both heartbreaking and beautiful. The series also made a full musical episode in season 4, when Charlie performed a rock opera based on his song “Nightman”. So there are definitely ways to have it Sunny inspire Brown’s vision of a Strange things musical episode
While it’s very likely Brown was just joking and a musical episode probably won’t happen, it’s not entirely irrelevant as much of the cast actually has a musical background. Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin and Sadie Sink have all been on Broadway and Matarazzo has even returned to the stage recently. Also, it’s pretty hard to forget that scene from Season 3’s “Never Ending Story”. In 2017, Finn Wolfhard formed the band Calpurnia, which lasted for two years, but released an EP. However, he is a current member of the Aubreys. Meanwhile, Maya Hawke has been working hard on her own music, recently releasing her second album titled Mousse.
Many shows did singular musical episodes, even if they didn’t necessarily fit the general story. A musical episode, no matter how it turned out, would definitely be a good way to make us finish easier Strange things. He might even keep things light until the credits roll, while showcasing the talent of the cast. Maybe kids feel the need to be musical after taking a trip to the Upside Down? Or, following Philadelphia is always sunnysomeone can have a defining moment through singing and / or dancing.
Millie Bobby Brown isn’t the only one talking about what’s supposed to happen strange things 5. Maya Hawke shared her thoughts on Robin dying next season, noting that she would like it to happen as Robin would have his hero moment. As the Duffer Brothers are turning things around for the fifth season, it is possible that a musical episode or even the death of another beloved character may occur.
Perhaps Strange things can you do another halloween episode? The Netflix series recently made headlines for crazed fans Strange things decorations, so why not take it back to where it all began? Even if without someone being turned upside down, if possible.
No release date has been revealed for strange things 5but keep an eye on the Netflix TV show to see what’s coming to the streamer soon!
